The school was a hive of activity the first week in September with Popsicle Day for the younger students, New Family Gathering for families new to the school, and the annual first week of school fun.  By car, bus, and even foot, children arrived and gathered on the playground and in the classrooms anxiously awaiting for the day to begin.  The students entered the spruced up buildings to meet their teachers and to start a brand new year.  Activities from reading, writing, dress up and playing in the sand began again in these happy halls of MPFS.
