Tomorrow's the big day! In our final installment of 8th Grade Q&As, we learn about the importance of building trust, big hopes for the future, and middle school advisory...

What do you think you’ll miss the most about MPFS?
Probably all my friends and the bonds I’ve built here. And also, the opportunities like the 8th grade trip to Costa Rica and being able to go to 69th Street to give blankets to the homeless. Just seeing the people’s faces and joy when they got the blankets. They didn’t expect them and it was a pretty cold day.

What do you think has made the biggest impression on you at MPFS?
Definitely Teacher Lisa. She knew that I could speak Spanish but, sometimes I would have trouble. She would always help me when I needed, give me the support that I needed. I guess all the teachers have done that for me. Especially, T. Karen, T. Lisa, T. Daryl. T. Jen and T. Christy from last year, and T. Meredith. They all gave me that support that I needed.

What advice do you have for next year’s middle school students?
...challenges are okay. Things will get challenging and you just kind of have to do what you need to do to understand it. Be persistent.

Get to Know Your Grad: Countdown to Graduation! #2

For our 2nd installment of Get to Know Your Grad, we're talking soccer, science, and more with our next soon-to-be graduate:

So, in this school they want you to be yourself. They don’t want you to be like anyone else. They want you to be you. So, I really saw that in this school. And it just felt like it really meant a lot. How you want to follow your own dreams not anyone else’s.
