Describe yourself in three words
Artistic, attentive, confident.
When you’re not at school, what activities or hobbies do you enjoy?
I enjoy singing in my free time, or binge-watching TV shows while working on puzzles, or diamond paintings.
Who is your favorite musical artist or band? What is your current favorite song?
My favorite artist is Billie Eilish, and my favorite song is "When the Party's Over."
What is your favorite television series or movie?
My favorite series is Manifest.
What is your current favorite book?
I don't like reading a lot, but I do really like the book Matched by Ally Condie.
What grade did you start at MPFS and who was your first teacher?
Seventh Grade with Teacher Jen.
What is your favorite MPFS memory, event, or tradition? And why?
My favorite memory here is when Teacher Sarah's dog, Teddy, jumped into a closed window, thinking it was open. We were reading our book in the cozy corner and it was super quiet, when out of nowhere we heard a loud thump, and saw Teddy jumping into the window. That memory always makes me laugh, and was the first time I had genuinely laughed with my classmates.
What interests have been sparked during your time at MPFS?
In my time here, I got really interested in theater, and found out I was a really good actor, and I really enjoy being in plays, especially musicals, and I'm now starting to find shows to be in.
What do you think is the most important lesson you’ve learned at MPFS?
Don't let your fears hold you back from reaching your dreams.
What do you think you’ll miss the most about MPFS?
I'm going to miss absolutely everything about MPFS. I love coming to school everyday, and getting to be with my friends and classmates. I love getting to see all my teachers, who all seem so happy to be here.
Where are you going to high school?
I'm going to CPFA, Center for Performing and Arts.
Are you looking forward to trying any new activities, sports, or subjects in high school? There aren't many new activities at my new school, but I will be taking more art class, and more performing classes, such as theater, and musical theater.
Do you have an idea of what you’d like to study in college or what you might want to be when you grow up?
I want to become a famous singer, who goes on world tours, and performs in front of hundreds of thousands of people.
What advice do you have for next year’s middle school students?
Don't start drama, and don't be afraid to be who you really are. You'll be so much happier.
Anything you want your family, friends, or teachers to know about you or your MPFS experience?
I really enjoyed my time here, and it changed me for the better. I'm so much happier, and I've found who I really am because of this school.
