As we count down to graduation, we're getting to know the incredible individuals who make up the Class of 2025. Each day leading up to our graduation ceremony on June 10, we'll be posting one Q&A. Today, we're delighted to shine a spotlight on Chase Irwin.

Describe yourself in three words.
Joyful, loyal, and kind.

When you’re not at school, what activities or hobbies do you enjoy?
I enjoy taking care of my many pets, like my fish, gecko, and dogs! I also enjoy exploring nature.

Who is your favorite musical artist or band? What is your current favorite song?
My favorite is probably Modest Mouse! My favorite song by them is called "World at Large."

What is your favorite television series or movie?
I enjoy watching The Pitt with my mom.

What is your current favorite book?
A Wolf Called Wander by Roseann Parry.

What grade did you start at MPFS and who was your first teacher?
First Grade with T. Emily.

What is your favorite MPFS memory, event, or tradition?
I really enjoyed when we did Winterfest.

What interests have been sparked during your time at MPFS?
The love for animals, and the interest in caring for them.

What do you think is the most important lesson you’ve learned at MPFS?
That you will find friends in unexpected places.

What do you think you’ll miss the most about MPFS?
The teachers and the students.

Where are you going to high school?
Strath Haven High School

Are you looking forward to trying any new activities, sports, or subjects in high school?
I look forward to all the clubs they have.

Do you have an idea of what you’d like to study in college or what you might want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a vet technician as of now.

What advice do you have for next year’s middle school students?
That you should give people second chances when they deserve them. And don't be afraid to show your interests.

Is there anything you want your family, friends, or teachers to know about you or your MPFS experience?
I'm very grateful for everything this school has done for me, and all the things I learned here, good and bad.
