As we continue our "Countdown to Graduation" series, today we feature Cash Kortum from the Class of 2025. Read on to learn more about Cash's experiences and insights from his time at MPFS!
Describe yourself in three words:
Funny, caring, cool.
When you’re not at school, what activities or hobbies do you enjoy?
I enjoy playing sports, gaming, and watching movies.
Who is your favorite musical artist or band? What is your current favorite song?
My favorite artist is Kanye West, and my favorite song is "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd.
What is your favorite television series or movie?
My favorite shows are Community and Breaking Bad. My favorite movies are Interstellar and Ocean's Eleven.
What is your current favorite book?
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.
What grade did you start at MPFS and who was your first teacher?
Kindergarten with Teacher Heather.
What is your favorite MPFS memory, event, or tradition? And why?
My favorite tradition is Bear Creek, because I enjoy bonding with my friends.
What interests have been sparked during your time at MPFS?
I have gained an interest for basketball.
What do you think is the most important lesson you’ve learned at MPFS?
Be kind and respect people.
What do you think you’ll miss the most about MPFS?
I will miss my friends.
Where are you going to high school?
Ridley High School.
Are you looking forward to trying any new activities, sports, or subjects in high school?
I will keep pursuing soccer.
Do you have an idea of what you’d like to study in college or what you might want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a professional soccer player.
What advice do you have for next year’s middle school students?
Pay attention in your classes.
Anything you want your family, friends, or teachers to know about you or your MPFS experience?
