As we count down to graduation, we're getting to know the incredible individuals who make up the Class of 2026. Each Tuesday and Thursday leading up to our graduation ceremony on June 9, we'll be posting one Q&A. Today, we're delighted to shine a spotlight on Jack Diveglia.

Describe yourself in three words.
Soccer Team and Tremendous.

When you’re not at school, what activities or hobbies do you enjoy?
Soccer and playing video games.

What is your current favorite song?
Yuno Miles; "Sea Lion".

What is your favorite television series or movie? 
F1 the movie.

What is your current favorite book? 
Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds.

What grade did you start at MPFS and who was your first teacher?
Fourth Grade with Teacher Holly.

What is your favorite MPFS memory, event, or tradition?
The math final projects are fun because we have a tradition of making a Squid Game skit remake called "The Octopus Games".

What interests have been sparked during your time at MPFS?
I started to play basketball for fun.

What do you think is the most important lesson you’ve learned at MPFS?
That you need to be nice to people.

What do you think you’ll miss the most about MPFS?
The small grades.

Where are you going to high school?
The Shipley School.

Are you looking forward to trying any new activities, sports, or subjects in high school?
I will learn coding with real robots, and I want to try squash.

Do you have an idea of what you’d like to study in college or what you might want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a soccer coach or maybe work in construction; also, working at an oil rig seems like a good paying job.

What advice do you have for next year’s middle school students?
If you are coming into middle school, you need to be disciplined and not goof around; if you do, you may not learn a lot of stuff.
