As our "Countdown to Graduation" series continues, we're thrilled to feature another talented member of the Class of 2025: Charley Parker! Read on to discover Charley's creative passions, favorite MPFS memories, and exciting plans for the future.

Describe yourself in three words.
Creative, Artistic, Friendly.

When you’re not at school, what activities or hobbies do you enjoy?
I like playing video games, reading, and drawing ideas for games.

Who is your favorite musical artist or band? What is your current favorite song?
Kali Uchis, Snoop Dogg, Tyler the Creator, and jev. But I don't have a favorite song.

What is your favorite television series or movie?
For TV shows I would pick Pokémon, Steven Universe, Mythic Quest, and Arcane. For movies I would choose Guardians of the Galaxy, Turner & Hooch, The Hunger Games, and Lilo & Stitch.

What is your current favorite book?
What If... Loki was Worthy by Chip Zdarsky.

What grade did you start at MPFS?
Fifth Grade with Teacher Dianne.

What is your favorite MPFS memory, event, or tradition? And why?
Probably when we were graduating fifth grade and Teacher Dianne threw dodge balls at us. My favorite tradition though is Bear Creek, because what happens at Bear Creek stays at Bear Creek.

What interests have been sparked during your time at MPFS?
My passion for making videos and short films has been kindled here and also my love for making video games.

What do you think is the most important lesson you’ve learned at MPFS?
Do all of your homework and don't procrastinate.

What do you think you’ll miss the most about MPFS?
The people and teachers.

Where are you going to high school?
Springfield High School

Are you looking forward to trying any new activities, sports, or subjects in high school? I look forward to trying Debate Club in my future high school.

Do you have an idea of what you’d like to study in college or what you might want to be when you grow up?
I would like to study Art and Videography in college, and when I grow up I would like to be a YouTuber and a Videogame designer.

What advice do you have for next year’s middle school students?
Once again... Do. Your. Homework.
