Thank You for Your Ofrenda Contributions

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed mementos and photos of loved ones to our community Ofrenda (altar), which is now on beautiful display in the social room. View album.

The items you shared—from beloved photographs to small trinkets and personal notes—have created a truly moving and vibrant space. The tradition of the ofrenda, often associated with Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead), is a beautiful way to honor the memory and lives of those who have passed. Our students had the wonderful opportunity to visit the ofrenda as part of their classroom learning about the rich history and importance of Día de Muertos, making your contributions a vital part of their cultural education. Your participation has made it a powerful embodiment of our Friends community's spirit and care.

We encourage everyone to take a moment to visit the social room over the next week to view the altar and reflect on the memories it holds. Your contributions have helped us create a space of connection and remembrance.
