Employee Matching Donation Guidelines

  • Match Ratio: Defines the company's donation amount relative to the employee's initial contribution (e.g., 1:1 match).
  • Minimums and Maximums: The minimum donation required for matching and the maximum amount the company will match per employee per year.
  • Employee Status: Higher-level employees may qualify for higher matching limits.
  • Nonprofit Eligibility: Some companies offer higher match ratios for donations to specific nonprofit types (e.g., educational).
  • Deadline: Companies set a firm date or time window for submitting matching gift requests.
